Tanium
Tanium endpoints and their installed applications, read through Tanium Gateway.
What the connector does
The Tanium connector reads endpoints and their installed applications through Tanium Gateway, with the API token of a read-only account. Tanium Cloud or an on-premises server, reached directly or through a TechWatchAlert agent. No action or package is ever deployed.
What comes into TechWatchAlert
- Endpoints: name, OS, IP addresses, last contact
- Applications installed on each, with their version
Setup
- In the Tanium console, create an API token for a read-only account
- Note the API address (Tanium Cloud) or your Tanium server address
- In TechWatchAlert, enter the address and the token
