Virtualization
Proxmox VE
The version of Proxmox VE and its components (kernel, QEMU, LXC, Ceph…) on each node, with your virtual machines.
What the connector does
The Proxmox VE connector uses an API token with the “PVEAuditor” role: Proxmox VE version, Proxmox packages of each node, virtual machines and containers. It reads the installed version of each Proxmox package exposed by the API: kernel, QEMU, LXC, Ceph, ZFS, corosync…
What comes into TechWatchAlert
- The Proxmox VE version
- Proxmox packages installed on each node (kernel, QEMU, LXC, Ceph, ZFS…), with their exact version
- Virtual machines and containers
Setup
- In Proxmox VE, create an API token and give it the “PVEAuditor” role on “/”
- In TechWatchAlert, enter the address (port 8006), the token ID and its secret
- Save, then run a first sync
