RMM
N-able N-central
Your N-central customers' devices and their inventory, read through the API for CVE monitoring endpoint by endpoint.
What the connector does
The connector reads the devices of your N-central customers and their inventory: OS, serial number, network adapters and applications. Devices join your fleet and their applications join the monitored stack. The N-central API does not publish missing patches; N-sight, which has no equivalent API, is not covered.
What comes into TechWatchAlert
- Customer devices: OS, serial number, network adapters
- Installed applications, matched with products known to CVEs
- Optionally, in N-central: one custom property per device with the risk score, the number of critical flaws and a link to the machine
Setup
- In N-central, create a dedicated read-only user, limited to the customers you want and without two-factor authentication (an API requirement)
- Generate its API token
- In TechWatchAlert, enter the server address (HTTPS, reachable from the internet), the token and, if needed, the customer to read
