RMM
Datto RMM
The devices of your Datto RMM sites and their audited software, read through the API and monitored without another agent.
What the connector does
The connector reads the devices of your Datto RMM sites, the software audited on each endpoint and the number of approved pending patches. Devices join your fleet and their software joins the monitored stack. Optionally, TechWatchAlert writes the risk score into a user-defined field (UDF) on each device.
What comes into TechWatchAlert
- Site devices: OS, build, MAC and IP addresses
- The audited software on each endpoint, matched with products known to CVEs
- The number of approved pending patches, on each machine's page
- Optionally, in Datto RMM: one UDF per device with the risk score, the number of critical flaws and a link to the machine
Setup
- In Datto RMM, enable API access (Setup › Global Settings › Access Control)
- Generate the API keys of a dedicated user with a read-only security level
- In TechWatchAlert, choose the platform (Pinotage, Merlot, Concord…), enter the key and secret key and, if needed, the site to read
