What the connector does

TechWatchAlert reads Grype JSON reports and links each vulnerability to its CVE. Only a match on a versioned purl is confirmed: a match by name or by guessed CPE remains a provisional finding.

What comes into TechWatchAlert

  • CVEs found, with component and version
  • The evidence behind each match (purl, name or CPE)
  • Unconfirmed fixes and untracked CVEs
  • Identical matches merged into one row per CVE, component and version

Setup

  1. Generate the report as JSON (-o json)
  2. Import it into the project's Stack › Scans
  3. Or automate the upload via the API with a key holding the “scans” permission
